How Much Money Big Tech Companies Make Per Second?

A British website has calculated and found out that Samsung is the biggest winner of the list with close to $6,500 per second. Apple making “just” $4,500 per second and what about Facebook?

The British website Happier.co.uk has created a powerpoint presentation that teaches us how much money the biggest tech companies in the world make in a second.  The calculation was created by dividing the total revenue of the company by the number of work days, then the number of hours, and finally by the number of seconds.  For those who like visual aids, you also get to see how much money the companies are making during the time you spend there reading. Click here to check out their powerpoint for yourself For example, Samsung is the biggest winner on the list making close to $6,500 per second. After just 3 minutes they make 1.17 million dollars.   Not far behind is Apple making $4,500 per second.  On the bottom of the list is Blackberry making a mere $205 per second.  Down at the bottom of the list with Blackberry is Facebook with $230 per second. In case you’d like to know how much you’re making per second Julian Heron from the Happier.co.uk website explains that you need to take your annual salary and divide it by the number of days you worked in a year.  Then do the same for hours and for seconds.  (8hrs = 28,800 sec)
