Not only is this an engaging stage show but theatre audiences will also have the unique opportunity to experience a family collaboration between the Martello brothers.  These two grew up together in the theatre and this production features both their talents as our own local theatre enthusiast/director/actor Martyn Martello directs the new play written by his brother Matthew.

The show features entertaining adult themes with a small cast within the intimate atmosphere of the Panowski Theatre creating an out of the ordinary experience from the larger scale Marquette productions.  Cast members include Sherry Bollero, Patrick Bradley, Monica Nordeen, Craig Grabarczyk, and Taylor Ehle.

Want a quick sneek peek of the storyline? Here’s a brief synopsis written by the creators themselves: “EX-Dating” deals with the realities of dating and romance in our modern post-internet world.  Rick and Anna, two close friends in their mid-thirties who have tried to make it as a couple, but find themselves stuck in the “friend zone”, have had no better luck in the dating world.  They have resorted to speed dating and online services to try to find potential date mates, with limited success.  Anna decides that they should have a night where each brings the other a blind date that they think will be well suited to their friend.  Rick objects, but plays along to please Anna.  What could possibly go wrong?  Plenty!

Due to the mature nature of this show including language, adult themes, and sexual content, it should be considered as “R-rated.”  Patrons 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
