THEY ALMOST GOT YOU…and they may still yet

They are close. Close to having everything you own. Including that thing you need most. Your personal power.

MARQUETTE, Mich. – They almost got you…and they may still yet! So…who are “they”? “They” are the criminal executives of the largest corporations in America and the politicians who lackey to them.  They run the corporations such as the largest drug companies, the largest technology companies, and the big oil companies, among others. Other large corporations are in this category as well. They want ALL of your money, and they are doing everything that they can to get it. And they want your voting power especially.

Reports say that the the richest one percent of Americans already own over 65% of all the wealth in the U.S.A.  My own opinion puts that number much higher. But whatever the number really is…it’s not enough for the super rich.  And so laws are passed that allow corporations and others to legally “steal” money.  Your money to be exact.

Here are only  a few of the many examples available:

Drug Companies

One such law that helps the drug companies steal money is Part D of the republican passed extension to the Medicare Act.  That law “covers” prescription drugs for seniors – supposedly making prescription drugs more affordable to seniors. This provision carries a hefty co-pay.  And it does work to some extent for those who have no drug insurance at all – making the law semi-legitimate.  But for most seniors…it actually costs them more money…and that’s the point.

A provision of this law says that the government is prohibited from purchasing prescription drugs in bulk – thereby getting a much better price.  Americans must buy drugs supplied to pharmacies at ridiculously exorbitant  prices.  In many cases…these prices are hundreds of dollars per unit more than is the same drug, manufactured by the same company, in almost any other country in the world.  And so much more money than is to be legitimately expected flows into the coffers of the major drug companies.  They use this money to by more political influence and to line their own pockets.

Technology Companies

Technology companies are boosting the prices of cable television and the internet every chance they get.  Many times – they simply cheat people out of the provisions of the contracts they sign.  One way they do that is to secretly restrict the amount of information and the flow of that information to particular units – personal computers and television users.  Users are told that even though they are already paying for these services..they must pay more fees to get fast information or to boost the information flow.

Oil Companies

Oil companies are setting new profit records, breaking the records that they themselves have recently set, all the time.  If they need more money than that, and they do, they can always cause an “incident” at a refinery anywhere in the country that will raise gasoline prices even higher all over the country, at least for a while.  The oil companies have deliberately reduced the amount of refineries just for this purpose. And if that is not enough, and it isn’t, the oil companies can illegally speculate in the continuously volatile oil market, easily boosting the prices of a barrel of oil.

These are just a few examples of what is being done to steal your money “legally”. When the U.S. Supreme Court agreed with the concepts in “Citizens United” that corporations are people and that the suppression of campaign money was a suppression of the freedom of speech; the floodgates were opened.  Money began pouring in to the campaign coffers and other accounts of the most agreeable politicians.   And those lackeys do exactly what that money orders them to do.

The people involved with that money know full well how important and powerful such money really is.

That’s why they want yours. So that your political power dries up to nothing.  These same people know how you can make your dollar work and your voice heard even though you are not filthy rich.  You can join associations that are politically active such as AARP  or any union.  These people are actively and overtly attacking unions for exactly this reason.  They don’t dare attack AARP: though.  So they are trying to get any extra dollar that may be donated to AARP.

Two things allow all of the above to happen. 

1. Firstly, it’s the prostitute politicians who do the bidding of big money. 
2. Secondly it is voter apathy.  People not getting involved in the political process.

Today there seems to be very few serving politicians with any real integrity or honor.  It’s very impressive to see what they are willing to do, how low they will go, for the money they get.  There are only a few real statesmen in politics at any level any more.

And the only thing worse than a voter who will not be active in political process, is a voter who is just plain stupid.  This is why the campaign money works so well.  Many people are stupid enough to believe lies…even after the lies are proven to BE lies.  Most of these people do no thinking for themselves at all.  They are happy to be told what to think and what to do.

This process truly is the biggest enemy of democracy that the world has ever seen.  If it continues then democracy will disappear in America.  Only a handful of ruthless criminals will be ruling everyone and everything in America at their whim.

This process MUST change for America and Americans to survive.  Americans must get involved in the political process and at least vote and vote wisely.  You are an American.
