Halloween Spectacle Ready to Thrill the City
Marquette, MI- With Halloween just around the corner the city of Marquette is gearing up for the third annual Halloween Spectacle presented by the Marquette Arts and Culture Center. This year’s Spirits of the Lake themed performances will take place on October 25th, 2014 at 7 pm in the Marquette Commons area.
This year the celebration is bigger and better than ever with performances from a variety of different groups. The show will include an assortment of local performance artists from many genres featuring dancers, gymnasts, fire dancers, live music and even a roller skating performance, all to the story line of an eerie poem about the chilling Great Lakes.
This is a great and entertaining event for the whole family. At 6:30 pm before the big show starts there will be a parade of performers that the public is invited to join. Harlow Park, Mattson Lower Harbor, Rock Street Parking Lot and Peter White Public Library are the four starting locations for the parade making it accessible for people from all neighborhoods to march with the parade in costume. There will be also be seats reserved for those who march with the parade.
Halloween is such a fun time for all ages and this event will be a great kick off for the holiday. Every year the Halloween Spectacle grows and this is the largest one yet. The large variety of performers really show cases the talent of Marquette locals who have banned together to create this festive show. People of all ages are invited to show their spooky spirit and be truly entertained like never before.
In the event of rain this event will be held at 7 pm on November 1st, 2014.
