The youngest students charmed the audience performing as mice, unicorns, and rainbows. Older students brought to life butterflies, glow-in-the-dark fireflies, and flowers. Nymphs, gypsies, fairies and more danced and leapt across the stage in a fun and mischievous celebration of this timeless ballet.

Lynn Bolitho owner and director of the Marquette Center For Dance has many years of experience teaching classical ballet and putting together full productions of classic ballets with her students. The result is a quality performance and a fabulous opportunity for her students as a year of training and preparation culminate in a quality theatrical experience.

Students of the Marquette Center For Dance benefit from full-circle participation beyond their ballet skills with older students guiding younger ones from backstage to center stage. Not to mention the development of poise, grace, confidence, and a healthy body that are natural side-effects of a regular discipline of dancing.
We’ll be looking forward to another great performance next year!
