The NMU men’s ice hockey team beats Alabama 3-0 in Friday night’s game!

Marquette, MI – Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 –  UPsportsphotos.com was there to see the Wildcats win against Alabama in the first of two games being played at the Berry Events Center in Marquette, MI this weekend. NMU controlled the ice for most of the game and shut out Huntsville 3-0.  NMU scored 2 goals within the first period which Huntsville was unable to recover from.

Freshmen, Dominik Shine (15) scored his first goal of the season and of the night for the Wildcats.  Reed Seckel followed up with the second goal of the evening. Another Freshmen for the Wildcats hailing all the way from Finland is Sami Salminen who scored the third goal of the night for NMU.  Hope you can do it again in tomorrow night’s game starting at 7pm at the Berry Events Center in Marquette as NMU Hockey vs Alabama Huntsville.
